Big Stuff

Now most of the recent additions to MOSP have been of the decor variety. There is that prim thing and with SO much already in existence, even a smart set designer can run out of "resources".

This building, however, offered too many new shots to ignore. Opening garage door, fire escape, safety climbing ladder (not sure what those are really called) and some great view shots from the nicely finished interior make this a perfect backdrop for some action scenes.

Find it here in the full sim city.

Pretty Shiny Things

Lots of great new additions this last week with my favorite being this fantasy fountain with arches and lighting. Find it in the Deep Blue Fantasy build.

The sound stages have been spiffied up of late. Here some beautifully detailed chair were added to the vintage office in Sound Stage 2.

Other inclusion are posters, shelves  and maps in the bachelor pad and a very pretty photo memory board in the family bedroom -- also new in Sound Stage 1.

It is difficult to beat the detailing on this coffee counter now in Sound Stage 2.

Upgrades - The Passage of Time

There have been plenty of upgrades and additions happening at MOSP. Almost a year old at the new location, add six more calendar turns for a total and a few things get a little long in the tooth as they say.

Amongst the newness ---

The theater has some spiffy new seating. The previous was state of the art a year ago but SL years are a bit like "dog years" I guess. Time passes quickly here.

There is also a new bar up in the pool room of Sound Stage 2.

And remember if you have special needs, IMs go to email. I am only a return message away.

Packing Up

I am not sure why I will miss the tree lot so. It is likely something in my childhood memories that aren't all that accessible but still leave their imprint. I am taking it down as I type this post. Hopefully it can be renewed next holiday season.

Christmas accoutrements will remain in the 60's house up here in the full sim city as well as in the house in SNOW.  Other items will get put away.

I don't mention content creators in this blog; that is not its purpose, but I do want to thank all the folks that send Chic the Fashion and Design Blogger all their items so that Chic the MOSP Curator can keep making this a great place for you to film and photograph.

Belly Up To The Bar

A gorgeous new bar had been added to the pool room at Sound Stage 2. The room is also larger now - LOL.

Thought you'd want to know.

Family Ties

The teenager bedroom has been retired. In its place a more multipurpose resting spot with some GREAT surprises for you. Click on the bed; sit at the desk -- have fun!

There are some really wonderful animations with this set. And I believe it is the first at MOSP that includes parent and child styles (bed). So come on over to Sound Stage One and play.

Actor Based Machinima and SL

Marx Catteneo filmed at LEA18 for many months as Artist in Residence recipient. Sadly he found he could not finish his project in Second Life.

I can't say that I totally agree with all his findings as some, for me, are not in evidence. But, if you are a machinimatographer, it is definitely a good read offering some things to think about.

Find his Manifesto here.

Happy New Year

It won't be long until Spring flowers start to bloom. At least I keep telling myself that.

December was a wild month in SL. I will be sad to see the Christmas Tree lot disappear from the full sim city, but room must be made -- prims must be found.

There are some great new builds coming -- one in a Sound Stage and I am heading there now.

Have a wonderful and prosperous New Years.
